2024 Pricing and Accommodations
Dog – Indoor-Outdoor Room / 4×16 (1 dog = $30, 2 dogs = $50, 3 dogs = $65 per day)
Dog – Indoor-Outdoor Suite / 7×16 w/ TV (1 dog = $40, 2 dogs = $60, 3 dogs = $75 per day)
Dog – Indoor-Only Room / 4×8 (1 dog = $25, 2 dogs = $40, 3 dogs = $55 per day)
Dog – Outdoor Only / 4×8 (1 dog = $25, 2 dogs = $40, 3 dogs = $55 per day)
Dog – Pampered Pet Room / 40 square feet w/ TV (1 dog = $30, 2 dogs = $50, 3 dogs = $65 per day)
Cat Condo / 3ft deep, 4 ft long, 2 ½ tall (1 cat = $18, 2 cats = $28 per day)
Cat Suites / floor to ceiling (1 cat = $22, 2 cats = $35, 3 cats = $45 per day)
Boarding rates are calculated on 1/2 day charges when checking in and checking out. For example, if you board one dog in an indoor kennel from Friday morning to Monday morning your total bill would look like this – $25 x 3 1/2 Days = $87.50.
- You will be charged for a full day if you check in your pet from 8:00-10:00am.
- You will be charged for a 1/2 day if you check in your pet in from 4:00-5:00pm.
- If you check out from 8:00-10:00am you will be charged for a 1/2 day.
- If you check out from 4:00-5:00pm you will be charged for a full day.
We do not charge extra to administer medications or supplements to your pet.
When you pick up your pet please remember we accept cash, local checks, venmo, or credit/debit cards (we add 4% for cards).
If you board for 20+ days we offer a 10% discount (for indoor kennels only).
We also offer a 10% discount for active military. Thank you for your service!
What MUST I bring with me when checking in my pet?
The most important item to bring is proof of your pet’s current vaccinations from your veterinarian. For everyone’s health and safety, if we cannot confirm that your pet is current on all required vaccinations, we will not allow your pet to enter our boarding facility. (TEXT OR EMAIL A PICTURE OF YOUR VACCINATION PAPERWORK IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SPEED UP THE CHECK-IN PROCESS)
Also, for the safety of your pet, bring your dog in on a leash and your cat in a carrier.
We provide Pedigree (dry) dog food with your kennel but if you don’t wish to change your dog’s diet then please provide your own food.
Do you give tours of your boarding facility?
Absolutely! If you would like to see the kennel please contact us to schedule a tour. Note: For issues of safety and efficiency we will NOT provide tours without an appointment.
What is your cancellation policy?
We want to be able to maximize our boarding facility for our clients so if you need to cancel your reservation please let us know 48-72 hours in advance.
How long does it take to check my pet into the hotel?
If this is the first time your friend has stayed with us, allow around 5 minutes for the check-in process. Please keep in mind that you may not be the only person checking in when you arrive.
Can I bring my pet’s personal bedding?
We provide bedding for all of our canine and feline guests. While we do make some exceptions, we prefer to use our bedding for sanitary reasons and for the safety of your pet.

We recommend you bring a shirt or small blanket, that way your friend has a comfort item with your familiar scent on it. Depending upon your pet’s age and temperament, he will go through an adjustment period but we do all that we can to help guests relax and enjoy their stay.
Can I bring toys and treats for my pet?
Yes, you are welcome to bring toys and treats for your pet. We enjoy treating them! Please use some discretion in selecting toys that your pet will not chew into small pieces.
We provide everything necessary to care for your pet in the form of a dry diet (Pedigree) but you are welcome to bring your own food if you don’t wish to change your pet’s diet.
If you decide to bring your own food we do ask that it is placed in individual serving size zip lock bags or a waterproof container with an appropriate measuring device.
No, we provide stainless steel food and water bowls.
My pet needs medication. Can you administer it for me?
Yes, we will be happy to administer medicine as long as it is a reasonable request. Note: we are unable to take diabetic pets at this time.
Are my pets placed with other pets during boarding or exercise/playtime time?
No. Every pet has his or her own room for sleeping, eating and relaxing, and our canine guests will also be treated to time in the play yards with our staff, but not with any other canine guests. Dogs from the same family may play together, according to your requests.
I have two or more dogs. Can they stay together?
Yes, all of our canine accommodations are very spacious.
If my dogs are not kenneled together can they still play together?
Most definitely! We want them to be happy and will follow your directions to achieve that.
Our dogs got sick at the last kennel we boarded them with! Will that happen at Ellie’s?
It is possibility and here is the reason why. We simply have no way of knowing whether an incoming guest has been exposed to an upper respiratory virus. An exposed animal may take from 5 to 7 days to show any signs of illness. Pets can contract these viruses on walks, in their own back yards if a neighbor’s dog has it, or in the veterinarian’s office — anywhere they may come in close contact with other animals (sort of like taking a child to daycare, church, or play group).
These illnesses are usually limited to mild, cold-like symptoms (sneezing, coughing, etc). It usually runs its course in a few days but if your dog catches something like this we recommend that you contact your veterinarian if you feel like it is progressing.
What if there is an emergency medical problem?
We have a vet clinic (PetsFirst) within 1 mile of our facility. There is also an emergency veterinary facility within a 30 minute drive that is open 24/7 and on holidays. If there is an emergency we will contact you first.
